Sponsored by the Naugatuck Savings Bank, the event recognizes sophomores, juniors and seniors that are outstanding scholars in the top 5 percent of their class. Students receive a jacket, varsity letter and lamp of knowledge pin the first year they are in the top percent. Those who continue to be in the top 5 percent receive a bar pin to add to their letter for each year.
