Assessment appeals to be heard in April

BEACON FALLS — The Board of Assessment of Appeals will meet in April to hear appeals related to real estate assessments on the Oct. 1, 2011 grand list and recently billed supplemental vehicles on the Oct. 1, 2010 grand list.

An application must be filled out prior to the meetings. Separate applications are needed for each appeal. Applications must be submitted by March 20.

Applications are available in the assessor’s office Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
