NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library is featuring the three-dimensional artwork of Sue Shepherd in December.
Shepherd, a Middlebury resident, uses her decoupage skills to create three-dimensional paper sculptures known as papertole. This month’s exhibit includes a number of floral images as well as country life scenes by the Dutch artist Anton Pieck.
Shepherd learned the craft of papertole in her native England, and she has been practicing her craft for 18 years, according to a press release.
The exhibit can be viewed on the Whittemore Gallery Wall during regular library hours. The library is located at 243 Church St. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
