WATERBURY — Anyone looking for a little exercise and a way to support U.S. troops can do both during a “Socks for Soldiers” fundraiser.
The fundraiser is a one hour Pilates class, taught by certified instructor Siobhan Costello. The cost is $10, and all money raised will go towards buying white socks for servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in Waterbury Hospital’s Bizzozero Conference Room, 66 Robbins St.

Money will be collected at the door and donations of white socks are also welcomed.
