To the editor,

On Tuesday morning, June 23, my car got a flat tire. I had to pull off of New Haven Road and in a small business area. I was very surprised when “Larry” came to my rescue. He said he lived in town and worked at “Golbies” in the evening. Larry changed my tire and was very police and extremely kind. He would not take the $20 I offered him, but said it was his “pleasure to help me out.” Yes, this really happened in Naugatuck.

I was so impressed by his manners and kindness that I just had to write a letter to let you know how appreciative I am for his help. His parents and teachers did an excellent job. Naugatuck should be very proud to have “Larry” as a resident.
