To the editor,
In reply to the letter “Khashoggi killing is a gross violation of human rights” (Citizen’s News, Nov. 8, 2018), it is so ironic that U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., never once ever mentioned all the journalists killed while President Obama was in office. None of it was a gross violation of human rights? Many of them killed by China, Russia or any other communist governments, but yet we are quick to put the blame on President Trump. The killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi has nothing to do with the U.S. and the country should stay out of it.
Speculation from some people that think they know what happened because a video shows something is astonishing. No one has security clearance or know exactly what is actually behind this.
It’s America first, and that’s what the President of this country should worry about. I am sick and tired of the blame game.

He was a Washington Post journalist, so it does have something to do with the US. Journalists certainly have been murdered in Russia and China, but (at least in recent years) they were not US Residents employed by American media outlets. That’s why this is a big deal.
Employing Murphy to represent Ct citizens is a more gross error in human rights to its population.
