The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
EVELYN RAMIREZ, 52, of 270 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged May 16 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on May 16 at approximately 4:59 p.m. officers responded to 270 Spring St. Apt. 8 for a domestic disputed between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Ramirez grabbed the victim by her hair. Ramirez was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
CLARENCE CHEVER, 39, of 80th Ave., Bronx, N.Y., was charged May 16 with breach of peace, interfering with an officer and first-degree criminal trespass.
Police reported on May 16 at approximately 8:16 p.m. officers responded to 213 Millville Ave. for a suspicious person complaint. Police reported Chever arrived at the victim’s home, who is a relative, intoxicated. When the victim refused to allow access to Chever, police reported, he began to bang on the door. When the officers arrived he refused to obey their commands, police reported. Chever was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
HENRY SCIONGAY, 53, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 16 with second-degree false report of incident.
Police reported on May 16 at approximately 9:10 a.m. an officer was dispatched to 151 Andrew Ave. Apt. 281-a for a robbery complaint. Police reported Sciongay gave a false report stating he was forced to withdraw $350 from an ATM. Sciongay admitted he had been lying to the officers hoping to be reimbursed by the bank for the money he withdrew, police reported. Sciongay was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
ZACHARY COSSETTE, 24, of 174 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with interfering with an officer, failure to display plates, improper marker, registration or license, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked.
Police reported on May 17 at 3:55 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, Cossette became argumentative. When he was being placed under arrest, police reported, Cossette attempted to pull away from the officer. He was given a court date of May 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
MARIA AGOSTO, 30, of 197 South Leonard St., Waterbury, was charged May 17 with disorderly conduct and third degree assault.
Police reported on May 17 at approximately 8:25 p.m. officers were dispatched to 115 Prospect St. for a domestic dispute between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Agosto hit and pushed the victim. She was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
RUSSELL MESERVEY, 28, of 284 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with breach of peace.
Police reported on May 17 at approximately 11:22 p.m. officers responded to 129 Lewis St. unit 34 for a disturbance. Police reported Meservey arrived at an ex-girlfriend’s home to drop off belongings. Meservey and the victim had an argument over the ownership of a canine now in the possession of the victim, police reported. Meservey tried to take the canine from the victim, police reported. He was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
JEFFREY RUSTICO, 28, of 56 Mark Drive, Plantsville, was charged May 18 with driving under the influence and failure to drive right.
Police reported on May 18 at approximately 1:18 a.m. officers responded to North Church St. for a one car motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rustico was operating under the influence of alcohol. He was given a court date of May 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
VICTORIA PATTERSON, 43, of 185 Lakeview Ave., Waterbury, was charged May 18 with third-degree larceny, credit card theft by transfer and illegal use of credit card.
Police reported on May 18 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Patterson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on March 21, 2014. Police reported Patterson used her employer’s business credit cards, without authorization, to make purchases totaling $7,603.49. The accused was released on a $2,500 cash bond.
MICHAEL SEPELAK, 60, of 149 Inwood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 18 with threatening and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on May 18 at approximately 9:56 a.m. officers responded to 149 Inwood Drive for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Sepelak threatened to harm the victim. He was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
KATHLEEN CRABTREE, 51, of 206 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged May 18 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on May 18 at approximately 10:30 p.m. an officer responded to a past domestic disturbance, between boyfriend and girlfriend, at the police department. During an argument in a vehicle, police reported, Crabtree grabbed her boyfriends neck and shoulders. Crabtree was given a court date of May 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
