There’s still time for anyone who hasn’t registered to vote yet.

All registrars of voters in the state will hold a special voter registration session Oct. 20. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Nov. 6 election. The sessions will be held at the respective registrars of voters offices in Beacon Falls, Naugatuck, and Prospect.

Residents who are 18 years old and citizens can register. Residents who will turn 18 by Election Day can also register, but their application will not become effective until their 18th birthday. The last day to register in person is Oct. 30.

Residents who are already registered but want to change their party affiliation can do so during the session.

Eligible voters can also request a mail-in voter registration application. Applications must be filled out and postmarked no later than Oct. 23. Applications are available in each town’s town clerks or registrars offices. Mail-in registration cards are available for Beacon Falls residents in the Beacon Falls Library.

The Beacon Falls and Prospect registrars will hold another registration session Oct. 30. The session in Beacon Falls will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the Prospect session will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in their respective offices.
