NAUGATUCK — Firefighters from Naugatuck and Beacon Falls responded to a small fire in the Quiznos Sub Sandwich Restaurant in the Crosspointe Plaza at 799 New Haven Road, Route 63, just before 9 Thursday night
A sprinkler system extinguished the flames before firefighters arrived. The store sustained water damage.
Nobody was hurt and nobody was in the restaurant when the fire broke out. The Naugatuck Fire Department said the fire remains under investigation and the cause was not immediately clear. The fire marshal’s office was on scene. Naugatuck police officers and ambulance personnel also responded.
