HARTFORD — After being sworn in for her second term Jan. 7, state Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-89) said her top priority for 2015 will be state finances.

“We need to continue to look at ways to better manage our finances and address economic concerns, ensuring a Connecticut that is more-friendly to businesses and encourages job growth,” Zupkus said in a press release.

Zupkus, who is a member of the general law, human services and public safety committees, added improving public safety will also be a focal point for her second term. She intends to work with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to battle drunken driving, the release said.
