Anna (Tarnowski) Fallon, 88, of Naugatuck died peacefully at Glendale Center on Sunday December 5, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Fallon for 57 years.

She was born on May 13, 1922 in Naugatuck, daughter of the late Michael and Gladys (Przyjemski) Tarnowski.

Ann was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and Perry’s School of Business. She spent many years working in her family’s business, Tarnowski’s Market of Naugatuck, and retired from Sears after a career of twenty years in customer service. She was a long time communicant of Saint Francis Church in Naugatuck and was a board member of the Ecumenical Food Bank for several years.

Ann was devoted to her family and is survived by three daughters, Ms. Linda Fallon of Norwalk, Mrs. Kenneth (Diane) Heath of Severna Park, Md., and Mrs. Andrew (Patricia) Johnson of Trumbull and four grandchildren Victoria Heath, Alexander Heath, Michael Johnson and Kevin Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Stanley and Cazimir Tarnowski and her sisters Sophie Lewonski and Helen Gonski all of Naugatuck.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave. Naugatuck to Saint Francis Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Saint James Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
