PROSPECT — Mr. Frank William Guerrera, 84, of Prospect, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the Cook Willow Nursing Home in Plymouth. He was the husband of the late Ruth Mary (Chapin) Guerrera.

Mr. Guerrera was born in New Haven on May 16, 1928 son of the late Pasquale and Alice (Salvatore) Guerrera. He was retired from the former Chase Country Club, currently Farmingbury Hills Country Club, where he had worked as a golf pro for 29 years. He held the distinction of having shot a hole in one on the same hole twice in one day at Farmingbury Hills. During his childhood he also served as an altar boy for many years.

Mr. Guerrera is survived by two daughters, Lynn Bernadette of Thomaston and Leigh Beaudoin and her husband Thomas of Northfield; a sister, Dolores Biro of Wallingford, three grandchildren, Linda, Victoria and Richard, two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jessica and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
