Nicole (Scott) Bousquet

BEACON FALLS — Nicole (Scott) Bousquet, 50, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020. She was the wife of Douglas Bousquet.

Nicole was born March 24, 1970, in New Haven, the daughter of David and Maureen (Fraser) Scott. She grew up in Beacon Falls, where she was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church. She graduated from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1988, and furthered her education at Johnson and Wales University.

She worked at Griffin Hospital for more than 30 years and was an admissions supervisor. Nicole loved her job and valued her employees above herself, responding to their calls at all hours of the night. She took pride in every part of the job, from arriving early at each shift to making sure she had the perfect outfit and accessories every day.

Even while working through the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicole balanced work with her family. She managed to find the time to get Easter baskets for her husband and son, whom she loved immensely. Nicole loved to cook for holidays, vacationing in Rhode Island and at Crystal Lake, volunteering for Seymour Pink, and rooting for the New York Yankees.

Besides her husband and her parents, Nicole is survived by her daughter, Jennie Valentine; her son, Nicholas J. Bousquet; her sister, Randi Bellemare (Dave), and their children, Joey and Jaime; her brother, Raymond Scott (Jennie Dorosh); her sister, Christy Falkoff (Ray) and their children, Patrick and Katherine; her sister, Tracy Scott; her father-in-law, Gerald Bousquet; her brother-in law, Gerald Bousquet; her sister-in-law, Debbie Bousquet; and her sister-in-law Diane Hall (Andy) and their son, Kevin. She was predeceased by her daughter, McKenzie Bousquet; her brother, David Scott; her mother-in-law, Eileen Bousquet; and her brother-in-law, James Bousquet.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. James Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics, 2666 State St. #1, Hamden, CT 06517.
