NAUGATUCK — Susie Askins, 88, died peacefully Dec. 18, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Susie was born on June 3, 1931 in Baltimore, Md., daughter of Moore and Isabela (Wade) Britt. Susie lived in Naugatuck for the past three years and proudly worked as a dietician in various nursing homes.
Susie is survived by her son, Sylvester Taylor of Windsor Mill, Md.; her daughters, Paula Taylor of Baltimore, Md., and Raynetta Askins of Naugatuck; her six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
All services are private, and have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
