The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Superior court dispositions are available online.

Ruth Pinto, 38, of 163 High Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 9 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Oct. 9 at approximately 4:42 p.m. officers responded to the area of High Ridge Road for a report of an intoxicated female driver. The officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation with the suspected driver on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Pinto was operating under the influence of alcohol. Pinto was given a court date of Oct. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released until her court appearance.

Michael Corso, 27, of 27 Elmwood St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 10 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Oct. 10 at approximately 5:03 p.m. Corso was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Corso was given a court date of Oct. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

Ernesto Serrano, 35, of 721 Van Siclen Ave., Brooklyn, was charged Oct. 12 with third-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree larceny and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 12 Serrano was arrested on active arrest warrants. One warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on Oct. 30, 2015 from the CVS Store located at 98 Bridge St. in which Serrano was found to have stolen over $6,000 in over the counter allergy medications, police reported. The other warrant was an active failure to appear arrest warrant, police reported. Serrano was held on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 13.

Stacey Tiano, 45, of 2 North Main St., Beacon Falls, was charged Oct. 12 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 12 at approximately 7:05 a.m. Tiano turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Tiano was given a court date of Oct. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Yash Patel, 23, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Oct. 12 at approximately 4:22 p.m. officers responded to Scott Street on a report of an erratic driver. During the investigation, police reported, officers located the described vehicle and observed the vehicle as it almost hit a curb. Officers conducted a stop of the vehicle and upon interviewing the operator, they determined that Patel was impaired, police reported. Patel was released on bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 26.

Chris Norton, 42, of 120 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 12 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Oct. 12 Norton was arrested on a probation violation. Norton is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 13.

Stephanie Dwyer, 29, of 178 Burton St. Ext., Watertown, was charged Oct. 14 with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, false report of incident and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 3:15 p.m. Dwyer turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Oct. 10, 2017. Police reported Dwyer, with a female accomplice, arrived at the victim’s home and forcibly entered the home by pushing past the victim at the front door. Once inside the home, police reported, Dwyer struck and pushed a second victim, whom she was involved in an argument with earlier in the day. When the victim attempted to call the police, Dwyer prevented her from doing so, police reported. Dwyer was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Rolando Larriuz, 45, of 227 Sunnyside Ave., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 3:14 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Spring Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Larriuz was operating under the influence alcohol. Larriuz was given a court date of Oct. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Mark Wenzloff II, 27, of 210 Beardsley Road, Shelton, was charged Oct. 14 with third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 11:12 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance that occurred on New Haven Road in a vehicle. Police reported Wenzloff was arguing with the victim, who was driving at the time of the incident. The victim stopped the vehicle, and Wenzloff exited and damaged a window on the vehicle, police reported. Wenzloff was given a court date of Oct. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Alyssa Ziarno, 42, of 23 Harris Circle, Waterbury, was charged Oct. 14 with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Oct. 14 at approximately 2:36 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Ziarno stole $245 worth of merchandise. Ziarno was given a court date of Oct. 25 at approximately $2,500 non-surety bond.

Mathew Sherwood, 19, of 1413 Spindle Hill Road, Wolcott, was charged Oct. 15 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 4:38 p.m. Sherwood approached the juvenile victim, whom is known to him. Police reported Sherwood instigated an argument with the juvenile and punched him. After the confrontation, police reported, Sherwood left the area on a motorcycle. Sherwood was located and taken into custody. He was given a court date of Oct. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Deidre Gonzalez, 25, of 75 Sunburst Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 15 with four counts of second-degree failure to appear and failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 6:56 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The accused was given a court date of 10/16/17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. She was held on a court set $150.00 cash bond.

Taylor Gillis, 26, of 2900 Lowell Blvd, Denver, was charged Oct. 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 15 at approximately 8:05 p.m. Gillis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Gillis was given a court date of Oct. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.
