The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Mark Casagrande, 34, of 450 Ferry Boulevard, Stratford, was charged Dec. 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 26 at approximately 11:46 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Casagrande was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Katherine Sanford, 32, of 85 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 26 at approximately 11:46 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Sanford was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Christopher Hill, 53, of 20 Jason Court, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 27 with two counts of third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 27 at approximately 2:49 a.m. Hill was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a motor vehicle theft reported on Nov, 26, 2017. Police reported Hill took the victim’s car without permission. The vehicle was recovered in Waterbury. Hill is known to the victim. The other warrant was for a larceny reported on Dec. 1, 2017. Police reported Hill stole jewelry from the victim. The approximate value of the jewelry was over $4,000. Hill is known to the victim. Hill was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Kaydian Christie, 29, of 11 Sande Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 29 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 9:31 a.m. Christie turned in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife reported on Oct. 31, 2017. During an argument, police reported, Christie closed a closet door striking the victim on the hand. Christie was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Michael Jenkins, 42, of 72 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 29 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 10:34 p.m. officers responded to 72 New St. for a domestic disturbance between male and female family members. During the incident, police reported, the victim advised police that Jenkins became involved in an argument with her that turned physical when Jenkins kicked and broke two chairs in her home. Officers observed evidence in the victim’s residence to support the statement provided by the victim, police reported. Jenkins was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Jahese Carter, 21, of 363 Berkeley Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 31 with interfering with an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at 12:53 a.m. Carter was observed to be driving his car without a seat belt, and upon checking the vehicles registration plates it was found that the plates had been expired since January 2016 and that the registration had been suspended for no insurance. Upon speaking with the operator it was found that Carter had an active arrest warrant. Police reported officers advised Carter that he was being placed under arrest, and he physically resisted by attempting to push away from officers to flee. Carter was restrained and taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported. Carter was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Kenton Geghan, 48, of 50 Porter St., Watertown, was charged Dec. 31 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Dec. 31 Geghan was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Geghan was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Andy Muccino, 42, of 230 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with second-degree failure to appear, possess of narcotics, and non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or day care.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at 9:21 p.m. Muccino was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. During the investigation, police reported, it was found that Muccino had an active arrest warrant and was taken into custody. Upon arresting Muccino, police reported, it was found that he was in possession of narcotics. Due to the stop occurring in close proximity of a school, Muccino was charged with being in possession of drugs in the area of a school. Muccino was given a court date of Jan. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
