The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

DAVID LEPESKA, 20, of 304 Pinerock Ave., Hamden, was charged Jan. 6 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 6 at approximately 1:16 a.m. officers responded to 669 High St. for a group of parties arguing in the street. Police reported Lepeska continued to yell profanities while officers were on scene, which disturbed the neighbors. Lepeska was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

MELISSA DIMASSO, 22, of 12 Bridal Trail Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 6 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Jan. 6 at approximately 5:36 p.m. officers responded to 12 Bridal Trail Drive for a domestic disturbance between sisters. During an argument, police reported, they pushed each other. When her sister called the police, Dimasso attempted to take the phone from her to prevent the call, police reported. Dimasso was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JULIE DIMASSO, 20, of 12 Bridal Trail Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 6 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault

Police reported on Jan. 6 at approximately 5:36 p.m. officers responded to 12 Bridal Trail Drive for a domestic disturbance between sisters. During an argument, police reported, they pushed each other. Dimasso was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

TERREL NEALY, 35, of 1579 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 8 with third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, third-degree identity theft, two counts of first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 7 a.m. Nealy turned himself in on active arrest warrants. One warrant was for an identity theft complaint. Police reported Nealy cashed fraudulent checks from the victim’s account during the month of January 2014. Nealy was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

ARTURO MACHADO, 43, of 155 Plaza Ave., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 8 with sixth-degree larceny and four counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 8 Machado was arrested on active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a larceny complaint made on April 10, 2014 at Walmart. Police reported Machado stole merchandise from the store. Machado was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

DOUGLAS HUMPHRIES, 37, of 66 Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 8 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 8:32 a.m. Humphries turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for larceny complaint. Police reported Humphries stole the victim’s purse that was left in her vehicle in the parking lot of 7-11. Humphries was given a court date of Jan. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KEVIN SAVAGE, 26, of 443 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 9 with risk of injury to child, second-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 9 Savage was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a larceny reported on Oct. 1, 2014 at G & A Variety Store. Police reported Savage stole two cartons of cigarettes, which was witnessed by three juveniles. The other warrant was for a larceny reported on Oct. 2, 2014 at DP Mart. Police reported Savage stole two cartons of cigarettes valued at $90 each. Savage was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

RICARDO ORTIZ, 31, of 5 Windsor Place, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 5:55 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Ortiz stole a cell phone case valued at $29.86 and a box of Milk Duds from the store. Ortiz was given a court date of Jan. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH TWARKINS, 23, of 214 Seaside Ave., Milford, was charged Jan. 10 with driving under the influence and drive wrong way on a one-way street.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 2:34 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Twarkins was operating under the influence of alcohol. Twarkins was given a court date of Jan. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER LEONE, 32, of 37 Main St., Canaan, was charged Jan. 10 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 11:40 a.m. Leone was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for motor vehicle theft. Police reported the victim purchased a vehicle from Leone, and it was returned to Leone to make repairs. During that time, police reported, Leone sold the victim’s vehicle to another party. Leone was given a court date of Jan. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.
