Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Raymond Lee Williams, 18, of 671 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 31 with second-degree threatening.

Police reported on Oct. 31 at approximately 12:18 a.m. Williams was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a threatening complaint. Police reported Williams threatened to harm the victim through a social media site. Williams was given a court date of Oct. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Clinton Scheithe, 38, of 11 Porter Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 31 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 31 at approximately 3:49 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Scheithe struck the victim multiple times. Scheithe was given a court date of Nov. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Oriana Subh, 23, of 380 Hitchcock Road, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 2 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Nov. 1 at approximately 11:08 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, which occurred in the parking lot of a department store, Subh pushed and hit the victim, police reported. There was a juvenile present, but not involved, during the altercation, police reported. Subh was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Peter Munn, 64, of 135 Fair St., Forestville, was charged Nov. 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 1:04 a.m. Munn was arrested on the above listed charge. Munn was given a court date of Nov. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Colin B. LeClerc, 21, was charged Nov. 2 with reckless burning and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 1:52 a.m. officers responded to Linden Park for a fire. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they found playground equipment on fire and two portable restrooms knocked over. LeClerc and two other people were found walking in the area, and during the investigation it was determined they caused the fire, police reported. LeClerc was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Benjamin D. Day, 21, of 485 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with reckless burning and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 1:52 a.m. officers responded to Linden Park for a fire. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they found playground equipment on fire and two portable restrooms knocked over. Day and two other people were found walking in the area, and during the investigation it was determined they caused the fire, police reported. Day was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Julius Emerald Castro, 19, of 114 Benedict St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 2 with reckless burning and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 1:52 a.m. officers responded to Linden Park for a fire. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they found playground equipment on fire and two portable restrooms knocked over. Castro and two other people were found walking in the area, and during the investigation it was determined they caused the fire, police reported. Castro was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Giovanna Josephine Ragozzine, 19, of 37 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 3:35 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Ragozzine pushed and hit the victim. Ragozzine was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

John Fruin, 45, of 167 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Nov. 2 Fruin turned himself in to Naugatuck Police Department for a violation of probation charge. Fruin was held on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 2.

Michael Romero, 63, of 686 Woodend Road, Stratford, was charged Nov. 2 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 6:24 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on John Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Romero was violating an active protective order. Police reported Romero was driving the victim’s vehicle and was in contact with her during the day. Romero was given a court date of Nov. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Eugene A. Rocha, 32, of 82 Middle St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 3 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 3 at approximately 3:50 a.m. officers responded to an apartment complex on Rubber Avenue for an intoxicated driver using the vehicle’s horn. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, Rocha was located in the parking lot. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rocha was operating under the influence of alcohol. Rocha was given a court date of Nov. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior
Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Andreu McCarthy, 28, of 15 1/2 Hillside Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 5 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 5 at approximately 10:37 a.m. McCarthy was arrested on an active arrest warrant. McCarthy was given a court date of Nov. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,000 surety bond.

Constance D. Shaboo, 56, of Ansonia, was charged Nov. 5 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 5 at approximately 6:51 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported on Nov. 5 Shaboo stole $67.35 worth of merchandise. Shaboo was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
