Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Martin Serrano, 26, of 15 Pearl St., Terryville, was charged Dec. 19 with third-degree criminal trespass, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Dec. 19 Serrano was arrested on an active arrest warrant for a previous larceny at Wal-Mart located at 1100 New Haven Road on Sept. 16, 2018. Serrano was held on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Latroya R. Thomas, 30, of 250 N State St., Ansonia, was charged Dec. 19 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 5:38 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Thomas, with a female accomplice, stole $270.58 worth of merchandise. Thomas was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jacquelyn Parks, 30, of 9 Pyramid St., Ansonia was charged Dec. 19 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 5:38 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Parks, with a female accomplice, stole $270.58 worth of merchandise. Parks was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Nathan Lord, 25, of 20 Washington St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with two counts of violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 6 p.m. Lord was arrested on active arrest warrants. Lord was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Lerenzo M. Clark, 37, of 37 Webb St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 20 with illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 1:13 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. Police reported Clark was identified as the operator of the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, two knives were located inside the vehicle. Clark was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Latishia Milton, 36, of 37 Webb St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 20 with illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 1:13 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. Police reported Milton was identified as a passenger of the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, two knives were located inside the vehicle. Milton was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Harold J. Hames IV, 26, of 31 Glen Circle, Seymour, was charged Dec. 20 with possession of controlled substance, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 20 officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which Hames became involved in an argument with the victim which then became physical when Hames pushed the victim. During the investigation, police reported, Hames was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. Hames was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 21.

Shanna S. Kinch, 27, of 629 Washington Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 20 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 20 officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Kinch illegally conceal items valued at $204.66 and exited the store without paying for them, police reported. Kinch was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Antonio Funicello, 34, of 75 Sharon Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 20 officers were dispatched to Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Funicello conceal items totaling over $83.97 and exit the store without paying for them, police reported. Funicello was released on a $1000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Matthew Tavares, 21, of 42 Gunntown Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 6:04 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Tavares damaged a phone and screen door. Tavares was given a court date of Dec. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Michael A. Lewis, 35, of 11 Blueberry Hill Road, Monroe, was charged Dec. 21 with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, issuing a bad check and conspiracy to commit issuing a bad check.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Lewis turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen debit card. Police reported Lewis and an accomplice deposited checks into the bank’s ATM using the victim’s debit card. They would then withdrawal cash from the machine, police reported. The checks did not clear due to bank account being closed. The total amount of the transactions was $773, police reported. Lewis was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Luis Diaz, 27, of 37 Elmwood Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 21 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 21 officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Diaz in the store switching prices on items while in the store, police reported. Loss prevention advised that Diaz took items totaling over $94.70 and exited the store without paying for items, police reported. Diaz was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 9.

Brushaun Lajaun Thompson-Baker, 46, of 164 Cedar St., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 22 at approximately 12:08 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Thompson-Baker stole $316.00 worth of electronics. Thompson-Baker was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Veronica Caban, 31, of 54 Oakland Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 22 officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Caban in the store switching barcodes on items and covering barcodes with their hand while at the self-checkout register, police reported. Loss prevention advised that Caban took items totaling over $85.66 and exited the store without paying for items, police reported. Caban was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Fred Michael Davino, 70, of 496 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 22 with violation of protective order, third-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct. He was also charged Dec. 23 with second-degree harassment and violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 22 officers responded to a residence for a harassment complaint. Police reported the investigation revealed that Davino was in violation of a standing protective order during the domestic incident. Davino was processed for the violation along with additional charges. Davino was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Police reported on Dec. 23 officers responded to a residence for a harassment complaint. The investigation revealed Davino was in violation of a standing protective order during the domestic incident, police reported. Davino was held on a $7,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 24.

Tonya L. Martin, 47, of 47 Talmadge Hill Road, Prospect, was charged Dec. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 22 at approximately 8:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Martin was using the self-checkout and did not scan all merchandise. Martin stole $181.81 worth of merchandise, police reported. Martin was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Juan Lopez, 24, of 28 Edgewood Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 22 with evading responsibility and third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 22 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Lopez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle theft reported on Nov. 17, 2018. Police reported Lopez was involved in an accident while driving a stolen car. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Waterbury. Police reported Lopez struck unoccupied parked vehicles and attempted to drive from the scene. Lopez was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Michael Laudate, 33, of 40 June St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 6:28 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance. Police reported Laudate arrived at a house party and began to argue with an acquaintance. During the argument, police reported, the victim intervened and was struck by Laudate. Laudate was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $7,500 non-surety bond.

Jose Guedelha, 47, of 73 Farmstead Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 3:19 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Goodyear Avenue. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Guedelha was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Guedelha was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Nicholas Anthony Irving, 21, of 227 Walnut St., Winsted, was charged Dec. 24 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 24 officers responded to a disturbance in which Irving became involved in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated into a physical altercation outside of the residence in the street. Irving was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 26.

Clifford Pierre-Louis, 28, of 2 Manners Ave., Seymour, was charged Dec. 25 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 25 officers were canvassing businesses after a burglary complaint in the area. One officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the fire lane of the Mobil located on South Main Street. The passenger of the vehicle was found to have an active protective order with the victim. Pierre-Louis was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 26.

Cassondra L. Santos, 29, of 103 Robert St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 25 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Dec. 25 at approximately 2:07 a.m. Santos was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Bristol. Santos was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Bristol Superior Court and released on a $200 cash bond.

Immanuil Trach, 29, of 20 Allerton Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 25 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on Dec. 25 at approximately 8:38 p.m. Trach was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident reported on Oct. 11, 2018. Police reported Trach struck the victim’s parked vehicle and drove from the scene. Police reported Trach was identified as the operator of the evading vehicle through the investigation. Trach was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Troop I reported the following charges recently filed in Beacon Falls and Prospect:

William Delaney, 29, of 73 Bethany road, Beacon Falls, was charged Dec. 18 with second-degree harassment and violation of protective order.

James Joy, 27, 39 Larchmont Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 19 with driving under the influence.
