Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Taleila R. Mitchell, 22, was charged Jan. 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 4:19 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported Mitchell became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Mitchell threw boots at the victim. Mitchell was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 31.

Cameron David Eccles, 38, of 24 Kneen St., Shelton, was charged Jan. 31 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 31 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Eccles illegally conceal items valued at $57.20 and exit the store without paying for them. Eccles was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Joshua E. Morales, 28, of 48 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 31 with criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny, second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Jan. 31 Morales was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a shoplifting that occurred on Dec. 12, 2018 from Walmart located on New Haven Road. During that incident, police reported, Morales illegally conceal items valued at $372.68 and exited the store without paying for them. Morales was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Richard Cox, 44, of 5720 US19 Highway, New Port Richie, Fla., was charged Feb. 1 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 31 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Cox illegally conceal items valued at $88.88 and exit the store without paying for them. Cox was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 1.

Jaclyn Kish, 44, was charged Feb. 1 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 2:41 a.m. officers responded to the area of Candee Road at New Haven Road for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Kish vehicle struck a fire hydrant on the side of the road breaking it off of its base. An officer later located Kish at her residence, police reported. Kish was released on $500 non-surety bond is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 14.

Michael William Rodgers, 56, of 46 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 1 Rodgers was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Rodgers was released on a $3,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Robert Pelkey, 52, of 481 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with driving under the influence and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 3:10 a.m. an officer responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident in the area of 5 Meadow St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Pelkey was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Police reported Pelkey was also arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Pelkey was released on bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Nicholas Vincent Desena, 21, of 09 Lombard Drive, Prospect, was charged Feb. 1 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 1 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Desena illegally conceal $164.76 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Desena was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Dawn Rompre, 48, of 122 Hill St. Ext., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Naugatuck police initiated a motor vehicle investigation on City Hill Court. During the stop, police reported, Rompre was observed to be operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Rompre was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 13.

Ryan Theodore Morton, 34, of 130 Carey St., Southington, was charged Feb. 1 with third-degree forgery and third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 1 Morton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a fraudulent check case that was reported to Naugatuck police on Oct. 22, 2018. Morton was released on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 14.

Lisa M. Blanchette, 57, of 130 Wedgewood Drive, Waterbury, was charged Feb. 1 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 1 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Blanchette illegally conceal $72.11 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Blanchette was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 20.

Alexey Crean, 24, of 26 Stoneybrook Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported a patrolman came upon a one-car motor vehicle roll-over collision that had just occurred. The single occupant was not injured, police reported, and as officers investigated the cause of the collision they suspected the operator to be under the influence. Upon administering field tests, and failing to perform to standard, Crean was taken into custody and charged with the aforementioned charges. Crean was released on bond pending his appearance at Waterbury Superior Court.

Michelle Luciana Miranda, 29, of 18 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 2:10 a.m. Naugatuck police initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the stop, police reported, Miranda was observed to be operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Miranda was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

George Navikauskas, 58, of 22 Summit Road, Prospect, was charged Feb. 2 with second-degree threatening, second-degree harassment, interfering with an officer, second-degree breach of peace, driving under the influence, third-degree criminal mischief, assault of public safety or emergency medical personnel and criminal attempt at assault of public safety or emergency medical personnel.

Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 7:39 p.m. officers responded to Riddles Cafe on North Main Street for a person who was found to be intoxicated and starting arguments with other patrons. Police reported Navikauskas was found operating his vehicle at the time attempting to leave the area. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Navikauskas was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. It was also found that Navikauskas threatened several patrons while at the establishment, police reported. While in custody, police reported, Navikauskas continued to be belligerent. Police reported Navikauskas threatened and assaulted officers, and caused damage to municipal property. Navikauskas was held on a $100,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 4.

Emmett Dalton, 29, of 3 Burritt Place, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 3 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported Naugatuck police were dispatched to 3 Burrit Place to investigate a possible overdose. During the course of the investigation, police reported, Dalton continued to interfere and hinder police during the course of trying to locate the victim of the possible overdose. Police reported Dalton’s interference resulted in a substantial delay in police locating and rendering aid to the victim with EMS. Dalton was released on a promise to appear pending his appearance at Waterbury Superior Court.

Delilah Rodriguez, 21, of 33 Autumn St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 3 with second-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 3 Rodriguez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a stolen motor vehicle complaint that was reported to Naugatuck police on April 10. 2018. Rodriguez was released on bond and given a court date of Feb. 13 appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Gregg L. Wallace, 24, of 3 Burritt Place, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 3 with criminal attempt at third-degree robbery and criminal attempt at second-degree larceny.

Milandra Chepelle Nelson, 20, of 262 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 5 with second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 5 officers responded to a disturbance in which Nelson became involved in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated into a physical altercation. Nelson was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

Christopher Cesar Barrera, 26, of 262 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 5 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 5 at approximately 7:50 officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Barrera became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Barrera pushed the victim several times. Barrera was released on promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

Jordan N. Silva, 25, of 53 Sachem Drive, Plainfield, was charged Feb. 5 with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 6 Silva was arrested on active arrest warrants. One warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on Sept. 22 from Walmart in Naugatuck. During that incident, police reported, Walmart loss prevention advised that they observed Silva conceal items totaling over $467.00 and exit the store without paying for them. Police reported Silva was also arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Silva was held bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.
