Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Luz M. Osorio, 43, of 25 Barker St., Mount Kisco, N.Y., was charged Sept. 19 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 12:05 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. Police reported Osorio was identified as the operator and found to be wanted on an active arrest warrant out of Danbury. Osorio was given a court date of Sept. 28 to appear at Danbury Superior Court and released on a $250 cash bond.

William D. Pierce, 54, of 675 Wilson St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 19 with two counts of risk of injury to child and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 19 Pierce was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an incident reported on June 7, 2018. Police reported Pierce made inappropriate comments to the juvenile victim. The victim is known to Pierce. Pierce was given a court date of Sept. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held until arraignment.

Kalonnda D. Hopson, 44, of 4 Rosewood Court, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 19 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 11:55 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Hopson stole merchandise. Hopson was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Terrance McCann, 43, of 35 Forest Road, Torrington, was charged Sept. 20 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 12:45 p.m. McCann was arrested on an active arrest warrant. McCann was given a court date of Sept. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 cash bond.

Marlene Correa, 47, of 99 Celantano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 7:27 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. Police reported Correa was identified as a passenger in the vehicle and found to be wanted on an active arrest warrant. Correa was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Wayne Louis Pond, 27, of 20 Alling St., West Haven, was charged Sept. 21 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 3:51 a.m. Pond was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pond was given a court date of Sept. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,500 surety bond.

Erica Teal, 35, of 103 Spruce St., Seymour, was charged Sept. 21 with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 9 a.m. Teal was arrested on an active arrest warrant, while at court. The warrant was for a burglary reported on Aug. 11, 2018. Police reported Teal with a male accomplice forced entry to a local deli/convenience store. Police reported they stole over $400 worth of cigarettes. Teal was given a court date of Sept. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

Steve Carloto, Jr., 24, of 66 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 21 with risk of injury to child, first-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation, interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 22 at approximately 11:53 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Carloto pushed and hit the victim. Police reported Carloto used a strap of a purse to strangle the victim. The victim was able to get free and called the police for assistance, police reported. There was a juvenile present during the altercation, police reported. Carloto was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

Elizabeth Roman, 44, of 277 Maplewood Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 22 at approximately 4:36 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Roman stole merchandise from the store. Roman was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Clayton Vincent Watson, 38, of 12 Liberty St., Southington, was charged Sept. 22 with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 22 at approximately 4:06 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Watson threatened to harm the victim and pushed her. Watson was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Dennis Patrick Overstreet, 30, of 1368 Meriden Road, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 23 with sale of certain illegal drugs and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Sept. 23 at approximately 3 a.m. Overstreet was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Overstreet was possessing and distributing heroin. The accused was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $75,000 surety bond.

Drew Larowe, 28, of 105 Sunnyside Ave., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 23 at approximately 6:30 a.m. Larowe was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Larowe was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Fred Michael Davino, 70, of 496 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 23 with third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 23 at approximately 7:29 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Davino punched the victim. Davino was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

Hayley Sisk, 25, of 6 Carter Hill Road, Clinton, was charged Sept. 24 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 24 at approximately 9:12 p.m. officers responded to an unwanted intoxicated female. Police reported Sisk drove from the area prior to the officers’ arrival. The officers located Sisk parked at a gas station. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sisk was operating under the influence of alcohol. Sisk was given a court date of Sept. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Judith E. Miller, 56, of 330 Seabreeze Drive, Stratford, was charged Sept. 25 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 25 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Miller turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on June 15, 2018. Miller was given a court date of Sept. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Allen R. Thompson, 24, of 207 Water View Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 25 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 25 at approximately 6 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Thompson was arrested on the above listed charges. Thompson was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Bil’nay-jia Hendricks-Hunt, 21, of 150 Sage Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 25 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 25 at approximately 6 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Thompson was arrested on the above listed charges. Thompson was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Brien Matecki, 35, of 20 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 26 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 26 at approximately 12:34 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. Police reported Matecki was identified as the operator of the vehicle and found to be wanted on an active arrest warrant. Matecki was given a court date of Oct. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $3,000 surety bond.
