Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Lori Ann Brady, 48, of 22 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 17 with four counts of cruelty to animals.

Police reported on Jan. 17 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused failed to provide proper care and neglected four animals for a period of time that was found by officers on or about Nov. 16, 2019. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 29.

Selinayarie Texidor, 25, of 82 Greenwood St. Apt. 1st Fl., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 17 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 17 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 29.

Kimberly Borges, 63, of 933 Rubber Ave. 6a, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 18 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 18 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 29.

Richard M. Wirsing, 64, of 44 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 18 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Jan. 18 at approximately 7:42 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of New Haven Road at Osborn Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while making an unsafe movement from a stopped position. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 29.

Elijah Joshua Quinones, 20, of 57 Lounsbury St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 19 with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 19 at approximately 8:57 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of stolen cellphone at a residence in Naugatuck. While on scene, police reported, officers determined the incident was domestic in nature. Police reported it was also discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused hit the victim’s arm away and stole the victim’s cellphone. The accused was released on $15,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 21.

Jose Luis Abreu, 38, of no certain address, was charged Jan. 21 with fifth-degree larceny, second-degree failure to appear and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 21 at approximately 2:54 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $912.70 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for the items. Police reported the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was held on surety bonds and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 21.

Allen C. Carlson, 58, of 812 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 21 with second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.

Police reported on Jan. 21 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused walked into a bar, grabbed the victim by the neck, and threatened to kill the victim in front of witnesses. The accused was held on a $5,000 Surety Bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 21.

William Jackeff Smith, 25, of 50 Coach Circle Apt. 1, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 21 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 21 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Dennis Jose Rolon, 29, of 72 Addison St. 1st Fl., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 21 with violation of protective order, first-degree threatening, first-degree unlawful restraint, first-degree stalking and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 21 at approximately 9:24 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused had ambushed the victim at the victim’s residence when the victim was throwing out the garbage. Police reported the accused became involved in an argument with the victim which escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and threatened to kill the victim with something that was pointed at her stomach. During that argument, police reported, the accused threatened the victim multiple times that he would kill the victim if the victim did not give him what he wanted. Police reported the accused was upset and looking for another victim that the accused had a known active protective order in place. The accused was held on a $100,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 22.

Tashira D. Vargas, 30, of 122 Farmcrest Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 22 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 22 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Aron Dylan Jeans Machiguchi, 30, of 497 Mallard Lake Circle, Surfside Beach, S.C., was charged Jan. 22 with possession of a restricted substance and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.

Police reported on Jan. 22 at approximately 11:32 p.m. an officer was investigating a suspicious motor vehicle complaint in the Walmart parking lot, 1100 New Haven Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a restricted substance and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Dylan Michael Scott, 18, of 131 Manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 22 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 22 at approximately 8:57 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated. Police reported the accused made threats to the victim that were serious in nature where the victim feared for their safety. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 24.

Meghan L. Davey, 33, of 192 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 22 with second-degree failure to appear and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 22 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was held on surety bonds and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Derek St. Hilaire, 19, of 535 Congress Ave., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 23 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Melissa R. Maglione, 27, of 348 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 23 at approximately 12:13 a.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused slammed the victim’s hands in a dresser drawer and threw keys at the victim hitting the victim in the face causing a small scratch. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 24.

Brendan Tyne Hardeman, 25, of 114 Benedict St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 24 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 24.

Heather A. Vazquez, 34, of 52 Everett St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 24 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 24 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused stole money from an account of a family member over a period of time. The accused was released on a $15,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 5.

Jason Harold Cammilletti, 47, of 28 Woodhaven St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 24 with risk of injury to child, first-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with victim under the age of 16.

Police did not include further information with arrest reports.

Brendan Burns, 31, of 1073 Augusta Drive, Oxford, was charged Jan. 24 with risk of injury to child, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 24 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from a domestic incident where the accused was intoxicated, caused minor injuries to two victims, and refused to let one on the victim’s leave the residence. Police reported there was also a child present during the incident. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 27.

Joshua E. Morales, 29, of 48 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 25 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Jan. 25 at approximately 1:55 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Cherry Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

Noah T. Dunn, 38, of 116 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 25 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 25 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on an $803 surety/cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 5.

Correana S. Morin, 31, of 125 Geary Ave., Bristol, was charged Jan. 25 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer/resisting and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Jan. 25 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $122.73 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused was also found in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Police reported the accused was also trespassing and was not allowed on Walmart property due to previous incidents. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 7.

Marc S. Gallant, 33, of 153 Tunxis Road, Bristol, was charged Jan. 25 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Jan. 25 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported the accused was with the other subject who committed the larceny. During the investigation, police reported, officers found that the accused was found in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 7.

Michael Chandler, 58, of 383 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 26 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Jan. 26 at approximately 6:41 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Cumberland Farms, 69 Rubber Ave. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failing to obey a stop sign, and disobeying the signal of an officer. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.

Anthony Berrios, 40, of 14 Church St., Beacon Falls, was charged Jan. 13 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Daniel Velazquez, 27, of 27 Sedgewick St., Bridgeport, was charged Jan. 15 with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
