Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Romaine Patterson, 24, of 116 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged June 1 with third-degree burglary.

Police reported on June 1 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused broke into the Naugatuck Housing Authority garage and stole a vehicle to use for personal gain. The accused was released on a $20,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 1.

Angelena Pizzi, 31, of 511 Spring St. Apt. B., Naugatuck, was charged June 1 with first-degree failure to appear and violation or protective order.

Police reported on June 1 at approximately 2:53 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 3.

Police reported on June 1 the accused at approximately 2:53 p.m. officers responded to the area of an undisclosed address on an attempt to locate the accused on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was also in violation of a protective order by being at the residence of the protected person. The accused was held on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 3.

Larry Scott Hanson, 21, of 12 Avon Court, Beacon Falls, was charged June 2 with second-degree threatening.

Police reported the accused threatened an officer who was working on a traffic control assignment on Bluebird Drive. Police reported the accused was taken into custody and charged with the aforementioned charges. Bond was set at $2,500 and the accused is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on July 1.

Angel Muniz, 53, of 933 Rubber Ave. 4K, Naugatuck, was charged June 2 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on June 2 officers were dispatched to Friendly’s Restaurant on Rubber Avenue for a male laying on the sidewalk unconscious. Police reported the accused was subsequently located walking down Rubber Avenue. Through the officers’ investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused was in possession of heroin. The accused was charged with the listed offense, released on a promise to appear, and assigned a court date of July 8 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Rachel Perez, 39, of 16 Sheffield Lane, Naugatuck, was charged June 3 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 3 at approximately 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated when the accused started smashing items in the residence. The accused was released on promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 5.

Leomaris Perry, 37, of 153 Wisteria Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 4 with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and third-degree strangulation.

Police reported on June 3 officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which the victim advised that the accused and the victim became involved in a verbal dispute that escalated. Police reported the accused then choked the victim while the victim was engaged in a 911 call. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on June 5.

Michael C. Hickey, 46, of 124 Coen St., Naugatuck, was charged June 5 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on June 5 at approximately 3:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to an undisclosed address in Naugatuck for a domestic issue. Through the officers’ investigation, police reported, it was found that the accused had violated a full, no contact protective order by being with the victim. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 8.

Joseph Yurksaitis, 51, of 105 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged June 7 with violation of probation.

Police reported on June 7 the accused was arrested on an active violation of probation arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 24.

Raymond Perez, 37, of 174 Fairview Ave. Apt. 2, Bridgeport, was charged June 7 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 7 the accused was arrested on an active PRAWN arrest warrant. The accused was released on a court-set $500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 8.
