NAUGATUCK — Peter J. Foley Little League is preparing to host a big event.
The league won the Scott’s and MLB Little Field, Big Experience sweepstakes this summer, and the celebration game and event will be Thursday.
Among the highlights are scheduled appearances by former MLB players David Cone and Kevin Millar.
There will also be a fan fest in the parking lot before the game with face painting, food trucks and more, including postgame fireworks. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the game set for 6 p.m. at the Peter J. Foley stadium, 299 Scott St.
