Post 17 announces registration for baseball

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck American Legion Post 17 baseball program is holding registration this month for the summer season.

Registration will be Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Post 17 Hall, 21 Cedar St. The registration fee is $150. Players must live in or have at least one parent living in Naugatuck or Middlebury. Senior players cannot turn 19 years old during the 2016 calendar year.  Junior players cannot turn 17 years old during the 2016 calendar year.

Robert A. Cole Baseball League holding registration

BEACON FALLS — Robert A. Cole Baseball League announced registration dates for the upcoming season.

Registration is scheduled for Feb. 3, Feb. 4 and Feb. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration will be at Laurel Ledge School, 30 Highland Ave.

New players should bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Adult volleyball retuning to YMCA

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck YMCA is bringing back adult co-ed volleyball this spring.

Registration is open for the season, which is eight weeks and begins in April. Games are Thursday and Friday nights. Teams must consist of at least eight people. The fee per team is $600. For more information or to register, call (203) 729-9622.
